Windows Slow or Hang Up in Shutting Down
The time which Windows shuts down is as important as the time it boots up. Improving the speed at which Windows shuts down requires proper setting. By default Windows is set to fast shutdown operation. The bad side of it is that Windows doesn’t notify of the device drivers installed of the shutdown. This means that some drivers are not “un-initialized” or reset.
In most cases the fast shutdown option works fine. However, there are times that this is not the case, depending on the device drivers being used. Windows shutdown process may hang or fail to complete. If you experience this, try disabling the fast shutdown option.
