Online People Searching With Spock
How many times have you ever done searching for someone online? We normally search about people to know more about them or to keep in touch with them. That someone could be a famous actor, actress, basketball player, boxer, great athlete, politician, president, or even your friend or relative. The person could be a prominent one or just a simple nobody around the corner.
I have heard of Spock.com - the best people search on the Web. A search engine for finding people all over the world. I tried searching for Magellan and to my surprise it resulted in a page listing with Ferdinand Magellan on the top. I learned more about him when I clicked on the link of his name. Ferdinand Magellan a Portuguese-born maritime explorer is a historical figure in Philippine history who was killed during the Battle of Mactan while attempting to find the Spice Islands of Indonesia.
The people search using Spock produces marvelous results. What is good about Spock is the ability to search by name or email. The search could be restricted to a particular gender or any. Search people by age range could be done also. Another important criteria is the search by location. If looking for a person for a particular trade a search by Tag would somehow be useful.
I did a Tag search with oracle programmer as criteria and whoah! I get a list of people, ordinary people, not so famous, but have been one way or the other been an oracle programmer.
The last thing I tried is to try find some of relatives or distant family on the net. To my surprise when I searched Guirnela the photo of my cousin who’s in US just came on. Tsk.. tsk.. what a small world with the internet. I could then easily contact my cousin using the other details shown in Spock.com webpage.
It is truly a great freeĀ people search tool on the web. I hope you find your friends there too. Be seen immediately on the Internet, register with Spock.com is a step to get connected with other people who might be interested to contact you.
