PC Laptop Computer Free HDTV Viewing
Television plays a big part of ones daily life when it comes to entertainment. Most people today have subscribed to cable or satellite providers for viewing television content. In our neighborhood alone a number of satellite dish have been installed on the roof top ranging from 3 to 5 feet in diameter. Save us from watching HBO, Star Movie, Disney Channel, ESPN, Star Sports, and more programs to be viewed from paid contents. The irony people go for paid one even if there are still TV networks that provide free content over the air like CNN, Fox News, or any local TV station.
Viewing a free HD Digital television broadcast on a PC or laptop requires some special hardware called TV Tuner. There are two kinds one is internal using a PCI slot on the computer and another external which is USB port based. The external TV Tuners like MULTRAU30-ULTRATV USB 300 EXT TV TUNER are more convenient to use compared to the internal TV Tuners like Ati TV WONDER ELITE PCI card. The newer type uses the power of USB 2.0 port for ease of use. The price is very reasonable from about 30$ to 120$ depending on the capability. So, one could easily turn the laptop or PC into a digital television by just plugging in the TV Tuner to the USB port with the USB extension cable then you are ready to view HDTV. Antenna and installation software comes with the package.
An example of those very innovative product is Artec T14A Mini USB 2.0 Digital TV Tuner. I selected it because of its price of around 30$ to 50$ range only. Just a reminder, check the system requirements before purchasing any of those gadgets to ensure usability on your PC or laptop. Happy free HDTV viewing!
