Security threats emerge daily and it’s time to be prepared and equipped to battle the challenges. All security experts in Europe are enjoined to attend the Black Hat Europe Convention this March 25-28, at Moevenpick City Centre, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Black Hat Europe is a gathering of all the best minds in computer and network security that will define tomorrow’s information security landscape. The convention have an expanded program promising more trainings and comprehensive presentations on the hottest topics in information security. It could be a time to mingle with other security experts and exchanged ideas.

The featured keynote guest speaker will be Ian Angell who will talk about “The Complexity in Computer Security”. As Ian is Professor of Information Systems at the London School of Economics the presentation will cover the complexity of computer security in a theoretical manner.

The Black Hat Europe Convention will have the following main events:

If you’re from a far away place then you could book in advance on Amsterdam hotels nearby the conference area to make sure having a place to stay there during the whole week. I’m thinking of attending the convention and drop by to visit my sister and her family in Prague. I have not informed her yet, so I might book as well some Prague hotel just in case.

Black Hat Europe Convention 2008 is the very best technical security conference on the European continent. Don’t ever miss it!
