Upgrades Needed For Out Grown Desktop Computer
Working too long for an office gets some desktop computer out grown. Ever since I was hired in our office, I still use the same old 1.8 GHz P4 desktop computer. The machine though have undergone an upgrade to 1Gb RAM. The keyboard was changed a few times and the monitor was also replaced once.
The working place is littered with all kinds of cables – power cables, telephone cable, network cables, keyboard cables, speaker cables and more. I was considering of tidying up some things with the introduction of a Linksys WRT150N Wireless-N Home Router,
Access Point, Firewall and 4-Port 10/100 Switch, hoping that adding this as a replacement to the 10/100 Mbps 8 port surecom LAN hub.
Since, I have 2 desktop computer my working space is a bit crowded, but thanks to the display switch ATEN MasterView Dual-View CS-1744 – KVM which allows me to have only one monitor on the top of my desk. It really did make a great difference especially I was having those 15 inches flat monitor which is so bulky.
Speaking of monitors, I am eying on some 20-inch G2016WA2 Widescreen LCD Monitor Envision Professional Series which might be availed through an Overstock online discount coupon code. This is the single replacement that will allow me to work more on the screen without straining my eyes.
Lastly, my hard drives are like cranking up. Sometime it makes some noise which is not a good sign. Maybe a new internal high speed backup hard drive system with Regen Backup software to back up data and sync new data to your storage drive. This unit offers system backup of entire drive with helpful wizards for easy operation. The Internal storage backup system will minimize the clutter on the desk.
As of now these are the essential upgrades that I am looking forward for out grown desktop computer.
