The workshop provides attendees with a tour of Oracle’s Business Process Analysis (BPA) Suite and SOA Suite. These two products work together to provide a link between the Business Analyst and IT SOA Developer. This crucial capability speeds business agility by closing the business-IT gap. It also removes risk by eliminating the miscommunication that often occurs between business and IT.
The workshop is taught by Oracle and Leonardo Consulting. Leonardo Consulting is a specialist in the field of Business Process Management and has rebuilt their internal invoicing systems using both Oracle’s BPA and SOA Suites. The workshop will use this system as a case study to demonstrate the capability of the tools as well as discuss key areas such as governance.
Attendees will see the complete life cycle of a business process from concept, design in the business analyst domain, the creation of an executable version of the process by IT, the deployment of the process into a running system and the monitoring of the process by Oracle’s Business Activity Monitoring tool.
The workshop is ideally suited to business analysts, IT architects, IT developers as well as line of business managers responsible for managing key business processes such as order management.
