English Evaluation Test Technology University

Today, I have received an email from my boss which have a letter of request regarding English writing capacity evaluation. The policy requires every student in the institute to take an English writing placement test whether they are continuing students or new students. Passing the writing skills examination and an English evaluation test is becoming a standard requirement prior to acceptance for higher education. Not even the students from countries who are English native speakers are spared.

Some University requires candidates to be fluent in English, both spoken and written. Thus, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores or International English Language Test (IELTS) are required especially for candidates whose native language is not English. Thus, each applicant must complete, among other requirements, a statement of purpose or personal statement, which is of great importance in helping the admissions committee getting to know more of the candidate. The University seeks a diverse and committed student body whose talents, skills, and aims complement each other well.

Modern higher education have now learned that students admitted must exhibit not only an outstanding academic record, but also an acceptable proficiency in English language. English is one of those widely used language that could make a difference when one leaves the portal of the learning institute. There is no sure fire formula for success, but if you know English you’ll get by better in your studies and in the real world.
