The daily things that I see are a cause for over sight. Imagine my computer room at home dangling Computer Cords, mixed with telephone cables, extension cords, power cables and more. Sometimes I am tempted to leave it just as it is; as the saying goes “don’t fix it when it’s not broken”.

Everything is running smooth, but there’s really a need tidy up things at home. There are lots of wires lying on the back of my computer table which runs across the room to the power outlet. Last time, I tripped over the mess of Power Cables and all my computer work was gone. Thus, this weekend is a time to clear up some of the mess at my computer room.

This work is long over due. I have done initial check of the cables the previous week. Some of the old power cables have minor cuts and while others are burnt slightly. No air conditioning at the flat where I stay. So, definitely this Power Cords are due for replacement.

I hope to clean up the mess and have a good rewire of the computers, printer, scanner, modem, router, phones of the whole computer room. This is a kind of treat for myself to have a more safer place to work at home.
