Honda Futuristic Zero-Emission Technology Today

Global environment problem prompts car manufacturers to explore on an alternative fuel. The goal of having a zero-emission car is an elusive dream, but not for Honda which leads the hybrid cars technology. Honda FCX Clarity was unveiled by Honda last year as the next generation eco-friendly vehicle.

This car still have the basic components like braking systems, power steering rack component, power drive unit, and others; but the bigger change is in the way the vehicle is being powered. This promises to be a zero-emission car which is quiet, efficient and powerful car powered by electricity generated from fuel cell. The fuel cell device creates electricity from the hydrogen fuel.

It would not be a surprise to see these cars on the road maybe by 2009 or 2010. Technology for developing an environment friendly car is getting mature and Honda FCX Clarity is one that paves way for a zero-emission car in the right direction.
