Searching Up The Web With New Cuil Search Engine

The Google former employee have come up with their own version of a search engine called Cuil. Cuil pronounced as Cool, is allegedly having 120 billion index pages. Cuil search engine is suppose to challenge Google search engine, but this is far from envisioned. The clear difference is the way search results are presented in columns of two or three. The search also is kind of funny as searching for my name results around 3,167, but the navigation button for showing the result was only 2 pages. The number of pages should proportionately correspond to the number of search results.

The search is kind of slow and the results are not really relevant sometimes to what I am searching. There are more things to improve on this new search engine, but Let’s just hope that this Cuil search engine will bring better searching results. You can try the Cuil search engine at www.cuil.com. So far, Google is still the dominant search engine and for now it’s doing a great job which makes it difficult for even Yahoo or Microsoft to compete with.

i’ve tried it and it may seem to be ok… it gives different result if you search together with google… so there’s a bigger chance of finding several answers to a single query…
