Compaq Evo D510 Desktop Computer Upgrade Memory

Compaq Evo D510 small form factor computer at home needs some upgrades. I have this computer for quite sometime already. This is running a bit slow now. Aside from the shrinking disk space available the memory is not just enough for the application software that I am using. Normally, photos from the digital camera goes to the desktop for reduction of size processing and other photo editing routines.

I am using, Photoshop CS3 Extended latest version. Though the software system requirement list 512Mb as acceptable, but it runs very slow. That’s why a memory upgrade is necessary for my Compaq Evo D510 desktop computer. It’s important to get the right kind of memory for my computer. Incompatibility issues are a source of illusive computer problems in my experience.

A free memory scanner tool like Crucial System Scanner (www.crucial.com) could be used to determine the current memory configuration and the recommend compatible upgrades for your specific system is highly suggested. An assurance of having the right kind of computer memory upgrade bought with the use of a memory configuration scanner would give you a peace of mind. This will save you costly upgrades due to incorrect memory modules.
