Switzerland is a beautiful place and if you happen to come from a distant place after attending the conference a tour on the nearby tourist spots of Zurich is highly recommended. You can extend your trip and go for skiing, at the preferred ski areas closer to Geneva. Maybe you could stay on some Geneva Hotels and spend trekking on some real mountains. It would be an opportunity to enjoy the ultimately time touring Switzerland. Some relaxation after the gruelling conference would be a treat for oneself.
