Windows Vista Missing Run Command
I have been comfortable using Windows XP SP2, but some users in our office runs Windows Vista already. I did not changed my operating system (OS) to Windows Vista are it’s using lots of computer resource. My old machine would be crippled if I use Vista.
Anyway, I was surprise to work on Windows Vista and the Run Command box which is the most important thing for me is missing. Yeah, I still need the command line to do things even on Windows environment. I get used to it compared to the graphic user interface (GUI). So, I was wondering if Windows Vista really junked the whole command line. Later, I finally found the Run Command.
I would not be able to find the Run Command in Windows Vista without changing the whole theme to Classic View. Just, right click on the task bar then select switch to Classic View. After which the Run Command button will show listed in the Windows Start button as one of the menu. Yeah, things are really getting different especially with this Windows Vista operating system.
