Beginner’s Search Engine Strategy
Getting to the top of the search engines requires a lot of study and planning. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a daunting task and is confusing. There are some things that I would say useful for a beginner. I myself have used this basic foundations in pushing up my blog search engine performance.
5 Basic Factors On Search Engine Strategy:
- Domain Name
This is one of less correctly used strategy. Having a domain name that have keyword phrases will definitely boost search engine visibility. - Site Maps
Complex website could be difficult for search engine to crawl or index. Thus, a site map would really matter in facilitating web crawlers from indexing all the pages in your site - Update Frequency
Having a site that updates daily three to four times is better than with one updated once a week - Back links
A relevant link to your web page would matter a lot. Creating content that will be popular for inbound links from related sites with keyword phrases is a plus factor. Don’t just let them link to you with the site name or address. - Content
Having content that sticks to the keyword or theme of the website will have a great impact. Search engines love a niche site. Something unique will definitely sell good on search engines.
Those are some of the basic things I have noticed that could increase search engine visibility and page rank. Sticking to those principles will give you an edge on the search engine optimization (SEO) arena. There a lots more of strategy, but those I believe will give a good impact for a beginner’s site.
