Mac OSX 3D Window Flip On Windows XP
I was looking for a software that will put some extra sparkle to my Windows XP desktop. I have seen some window flipping function with Mac OSX’s and thought that it would be cool to have on Windows XP. A key combination would make one flip through desktop application window in a 3D view. I found a software that will just be able to do this is, WinFlip, which is a free download of 423 Kb zip file.
WinFlip requires Windows XP and DirectX9 to run. After download, unzip the file on a folder and launch the WinFlip.exe file. A WinFlip icon will then be added on a taskbar system tray.
Using WinFlip is easy as having key combination of Win + Tab to move forward and Win + Shift + Tab for backward flipping. The texture quality of the window could also be changed by right click the icon in the system tray and select the desired “Texture Quality”.
Those are just the basic instructions and there are more options to set when using. This I find flashy and useful when cycling through all the desktop application window. Quitting the program requires one to right click the icon in the desktop system tray and select “Quit” in the menu. As this is a free software, everyone is free to redistribute and download.
