FireFox Browser Add-on Viewing Page Dependencies
![]() |
Internet web pages are composed of various files put together for presentation. A page as viewed on a browser is rendered with lots of other files such as images, script files, widget files, and more on the background. Having a tool to list all the dependent files the current browser displayed page is very helpful in tracking file locations.
View Dependencies does just the job by adding a tab to the “Page Info” window and lists all the files that are used / loaded in the current page. This is useful in tracking back files to their origin.
Another use of the FireFox Add-on is for knowing how many bytes of data are used in loading the page. It shows the bandwidth consumption on a page or file basis. This viewing dependency add-on is a tool to have in hacking web pages.
