Last month we have been advised that our Information System unit office will be moved to new location. It’s an eminent thing to happen as we occupy a very large office good for 10 person, but only 3 of us occupies the space. I could remember the days when our unit is full of colleagues, but things have changed after the cost cutting measure. The experience is a nostalgic one, but for us left behind we need to do our best to cope up with all the work left.

Moving our office to the new location is a stressful thing. We cleaned up the place by ourselves and moved some of our old tables and chairs. We somehow consider of getting some discount furniture to replace those very old ones, but it’s subject to scrutiny of the budget officer. Getting to move is good also as it is a time to discard a lot of unused things. After the transfer it feels a bit better.
