Computer games controller are fast evolving. When Wii games hit the markets, everybody thought they’ve seen three-dimensional motion controller as the best computer game controllers. This has spurred new heights in the way games are played.

Nintendo’s Wii controller has a special made sensor that senses three-dimensional motion. The motion could be up and down, back and forward, side to side. It could do anything one wants to match any action the user does from punching, kicking, sword wielding, tennis swings, golf swings, and other actions possible. There’s no limit to the action that could be done on a game. That being said it seems to be the ultimate gaming controller ever, but not for long.

In Tokyo Game Show, one of the industry’s biggest gaming exhibition unveiled NeuroSky Inc. new game controller headset - named Mindset. The headset monitors brain waves which in turn used to control game character movements. This opens up a whole lot of technological applications aside from gaming. NeuroSky’s Mindset could help people with disabilities to use their mind to communicate and control things.
