Computer Spreadsheet Software Keeps Baking Recipes
Baking is one of the pastimes I enjoy most, aside from the fact that I could indulge myself in eating the baked pastries. As an IT guy at work, I find computer technology being useful even for baking. I use for example a computer spreadsheet like MS Excel to store the baking recipes. I don’t feel like flipping the recipe book. Having the recipe stored in a smartphone spreadsheet is very cool for a geek. I am not sure if you like the idea.
I could store the various favorite recipes like chocolate brownies, pandesal, oatmeal cookies, cornbread dressing, pizza, and more in a single spreadsheet. The formula function of the spreadsheet is very useful in converting recipes into half or doubles with just a few clicks. Setting up the recipe spreadsheet is not very difficult either.
It requires a bit of learning the basic concepts of spreadsheets. In no time, I believe you can make your own list of recipes in a spreadsheet and enjoy the clutter free baking sessions. Spreadsheets are the basic software that could make a difference in baking.
