2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV Fuel Efficient Street Racing Technology

2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Hybrid cars and vehicles are the buzz in the industry. The call for alternative fuel to reduce carbon emissions are serious matters especially in the volatile times of world oil prices. Having a car that’s both big and have efficient fuel consumption would be a good choice.

In Thailand, a couple of years back, I remember the days of driving a Jeep Cherokee. The vehicle having a 2.5 liter engine gulps fuel literally. This is especially true when driving at around 100 to 120 Kph on the express way or free way. Even if the vehicle could kick in some more speed, I never go beyond 120 Kph. Driving was pretty much fun with Jeep Cherokee. I never have any trouble with the power and speed of the vehicle.

Jeep Cherokee body was at that time having a sharp corner or angular shape, but this year, the 2008 jeep grand cherokee was somehow different. There’s a slight change on the outside appearance of the Jeep Cherokee with a bit of curvature now, but still retains the rugged off-road look and notably the big front Jeep grille trademark.

On the inside the Jeep Cherokee have an internal combustion engine that utilizes a hemispherical combustion chamber which was originally built by Chrysler. The HEMI Engine or hemispherical combustion chamber provides more space in the combustion chamber. These have significant improvements in the engine’s airflow capacity that result in relatively high piston displacement power output.

I miss those days of driving the Jeep and I hope to drive a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 powered by a HEMI engine as well. The vehicle is notably behaved on-road, and as well as off-road. What’s good is the 3.0 liter diesel V-6 engine that makes the 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV a fuel efficient street racing technology vehicle.
