Computer and technology exhibition and conventions are a must see event. It’s a chance for seeing what is the latest in computer, laptop, digital camera and other technology gadgets. COMWORLD is one of these big events and I happen to visit the exhibition center in Siam Paragon, Thailand. Products are showcased and sold at discount.

I have a TravelMate 3010 laptop with 12 inch screen. This might not be as light as Apple’s macBook, but it served me well on my travel. Since, this is around two years already, it might be time to catch up with computer technology.

Computer technology is one of the fastest and dynamic industries. Having a machine that could cope up with the new Windows Vista Operating system, application and software is always a must. Unless you would like to wait for several seconds for the computer to respond whenever a task is done. I was comparing Toshiba laptops with Compaq Presario laptop at the exhibition hall, but could not decide.

I tried to ponder first on which is the best deal for my money. It’s important that when you shop you compare prices prior to buying. I always check and compare prices of different brands from the Internet. The following day,I went back early to COMWORLD on the last day. The place is somehow not so packed anymore. Unlike the previous days that when I arrived late the place is just choking and there seems to be no place to breath. This allowed more space to move around from one exhibition booth to another.

I have spotted some netbooks which are a new line of cheap ultra portable laptop. Finally, I decided not to buy a full laptop, but have something like a asus eee pc. Very cute and practical enough for travel needs. After hoping from one laptop computer manufacturer to another, I end up buying an Aspire One laptop. My COMWORLD experience ended up with an Acer Aspire One Sapphire Blue laptop at home.
