Internet Searching By Voice Recognition Technology Free iPhone Application

It’s a wonder what technology could bring us in the near future. Everything is a surprise. How about doing everything with voice command on the mobile phone? How about searching the Internet using voice? Voice recognition technology has been with us for a while. I remember my old phone which could dial the phone book number by just saying the name of the person to be called. This are not possibilities, but are reality already. Though there’s a lot of improvement needed for voice technology.

The time might be ripe now for using voice recognition technology in Internet searching on smartphone mobile devices. Search engine giant Google which released this year the Android T-Mobile G1 smartphone has announced making available voice recognition technology for Internet searching. This is already available to some big names like Microsoft or Yahoo, but what makes Google’s release is that it’s going to be available for free. Yes, this would be first offered as a free application in Apple’s iPhone Application stores.

I could say that this will change how people are going to use the mobile phones then. Drivers would be happy to have voice recognition to get answers on directions while driving. This would have safety impact on roads in this case. For now this voice search technology is not that popular, but I know for sure will gain momentum and acceptance in the future as voice recognition technology will grow maturely.
