Recovering iPod Music, Images And Videos on Mac Books

One of the things that’s very wonderful in Apple’s iPod is the capability to sync music and video files from a computer. There’s a problem though when your computer is broken and all your music is left on the iPod. Your hard drive might be badly broken and formatting or reinstall your operating system is the only solution.  Is it possible then to sync or copy music files again from iPod back to the clean hard drive? One could somehow enable iPod disk mode and copy the music back directly from it. The consequence of this is data that goes along with your music like complete file names, playlists and metadata information will all be gone.

Good news for Mac user as there is a Senuti software which can be of help in this case. Senuti (iTunes spelled backwards) is a small application that will bypass iTunes. Thus, even if iTunes from the laptop or computer is gone or broken it is possible to restore the music collection from an iPod. Not only that, Senuti can also play music on the iPod without forcing a sync. Senuti could also help in recovering the contents of the iPod in times when the music library is lost or damaged. Senuti apps works fine on older PowerPC Macs and even newer Intel Macs.  The best thing is Senuti is free, but only thing is it requires Mac OS 10.4 to run. I guess Senuti is still a good apps for recovering iPod Music, Images and Videos to a computer.
