Preventing Copy Cats from Copying Blog Entries
A major problem of real bloggers is their content being copied and replicated on other Internet web sites. I always see some links on www.techxplore.net which are coming from sites that appears to be script generated. They copy the title of the post with two or three lines of the blog content and they link back to my original post. This looks like a valid linking, but actually I don’t like this kind of thing.
The site looks like a splog (Spam Log) instead of a real blog. I haven’t seen a solution to this yet, but for now there is a WordPress plug-in which prevents people from copying content via right click or selecting text. This is a simplistic approach on copy protecting your blog content. I know that for the determined copy cat there’s no way to prevent them. This kind of plug-in will only prevent ordinary person from copying your site. The WordPress plug-in is no other than WP-CopyProtect.

I hope you’ll be happy with this simple blog copy protection plug-in. Even if it’s simple, I find it necessary for everyone to install in their blog.

Hmm… Seems interesting. So if people can’t highlight your text they can’t steal it. Thats pretty good. Thanks
