Proper Lighting in Computer Working Environment

The computer room is one of the places that needs to be cleaned up in our house for the year end. I have some re-arranging to do only to accommodate working in late nights. The plan includes some installation of proper lighting in the room. I have a lamp shade as of now which glows a bright white light, but it seems too much to the eyes as it glares back on the computer screen.
A low tone light would be more comfortable to the eyes. I have seen some wall sconces that adds warmth and elegance to the room. It would be a treat for myself who’s a nocturnal person. I believe that this proper lighting would promote good working environment and enhance productivity needed in the computer room.
