3D High Definition TV Technology Hitting Home Screens Sooner
The New Year 2009 is an exciting year for technology consumer electronic gadgets. The annual International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas has show cased the latest products in home theater viewing. The latest buzz this year 2009 is the 3D High Definition TV which offers to change the viewing experience of people.
I have visited super malls in various places and they have this big wide screen which shows 3D video snippets or advertisements. There’s even a specialized 3D Movie Theater for an ultimate three dimensional viewing experience. Mostly, the contents of the movie are educational. It’s seems you are inside a Virtual World when watching on this movie house.
Actually, some big manufacturers like Mitsubishi and Samsung have already sold 3D-Ready HDTV sets, but the problem is the lack of content to be shown. The International Consumer Electronics Show has opened a way for manufacturers to air this concern which was lead by Panasonic proposing for High Definition Movie Content Standard.
In any new technology undertaking there’s always an obstacle and this one is no different. Pretty sure, 3D movie content will hit home screens sooner when manufacturers and Hollywood Studios work close together for a standard.
