Communication technology is very important in daily life. Imagine a world without mobile phones? I feel something is lacking sometimes when I leave home without a mobile phone. Having a mobile phone at hand gives a sense of security to communicate and be informed immediately whenever needed.
Another kind of communication technology which is a bit different from the mobile phone technology is the Satellite Phone. Satellite phones as the name indicates are mobile phones that are using satellite to transmit voice signals. This is very useful when say when you are out of the coverage of a normal cellular phone network sites.
In out door vacation such as Machu Picchu travel to the Inca Trail in Peru, communication would be very important. Most of the time trip would be a nature trek where emergency first aid kit, oxygen, radio communications and satellite phones are a must item to bring.
Satellite Phones would be very useful when the regular cellular mobile phones are not useable. In case of emergency communication system such as Satellite Phones would make a difference in the situation.
