Using Desktop Computer to Watch Satellite TV Channels on Internet

TV’s are common mode of entertainment at any home, but the place where I live is kind of different. In the institute campus where I stay, our location is far from the buildings. Thus, amenities like cable TV and Internet connection is not available. Even though the whole campus is lined with Ethernet fiber optic Internet connection and some Wireless Access Points (WAP) our home is not included.

The alternative form of entertainment at home is through the Internet. I have subscribe on ADSL connectivity which I pay about 20$ per month. Youtube, Justin TV and others a good source of entertainment. But there’s a software that could also turn a normal desktop computer to view thousands of satellite TV channels throughout the world.

A tennis sports addict I am. I spend regular time for playing tennis together with friends and my wife. Aside from playing the game I keep track of the happenings through the Internet. Like the French Open 2009 which could be an epic breaking time for Nadal to have five (5) consecutive grand slams. On the other hand it could also be the first (1) French Open title for Federer.

Tennis games could last for more than 3 hours. I have observed that watching that long on a desktop computer affects my vision. I hope, I’ll not end up getting some High-indexed Prescription Eyeglasses On Sale to address blurry vision. I could not help being glued to the computer watching each game unfolding.

It’s really cool to watch my favorite sports on the Internet. TV series and movie lover’s would be happy to watch Satellite TV Channels on Internet. A small download satellite PC TV computer software would be great addition to a desktop computer.
