Not understood much by management, IT units is the most common target for cost cutting. The advent of eminent outsourcing caused staff to go for computer certifications. I have observed that IT Personnel who have numerous certifications are usually given more opportunities at work.

The right certification is essential to demonstrate to potential outsourcing employers of special computer skills. I am looking for myself some possibility of taking up a Microsoft Course, Oracle Database Certification, computer security training or computer forensics training which I think are in demand today.

Having an internationally recognized qualification in the IT industry would put one in high demand. Specialist skills in IT systems maintenance and software development are also attractive. I remember that an applicant was accepted for a Linux Network Administrator post by having some Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer MCSE qualification for MS Windows System.

It only proves that MCSE qualification is a widely recognized technical certification in the IT industry. Having skill upgrade through online computer training courses would be very useful in this difficult time. Those certifications provide expertise in designing and implementing the infrastructure for business solutions. With this qualification, you’ll be identified as an individual IT expert by employers and colleagues.
