Minimal Screen Shot Capturing Software in Windows XP
Photos posted on blogs adds color and life. I try to post some photos on my blog entries whenever possible. However, when a new desktop computer SVOA machine came. I got trouble capturing screen shots. The keyboard print screen key does not work as it should.
Thus, I seldom could put some images on my blog. I searched for a minimal screen shot capturing software to be able to capture portions of the desktop. I found Snippy, which is a nice light weight screen capture tool for Windows XP.

Installation was a breeze and I have noted a scissor icon on the system tray. Using the screen capture software is very easy. Just click the scissor icon then when the mouse pointer changes to a marker pen point. Then to capture a screen portion, hold down the shift key, the icon will change to a cross hair. Select the area to be captured. That’s how easy it is to use snippy screen shot capturing software.
