Adobe AIR Desktop Application maximizes Google Voice Usage

VOIP is making it possible to enjoy cheaper calls today. The internet search engine giant Google has developed a communication application Google Voice. The aim is to get all calls through a single number. This sounds very interesting for it will make me access phone calls from a different communication device.

The step is as simple as adding the telephone numbers to Google Voice which could be a Google number or an existing number. Set rules on how phones ring. Calls then can be made from the phone and the Web. Annoying callers could be blocked and custom greetings could be recorded for different callers or groups of callers.

Google Voice web application feature with existing number:

  • Transcribed voicemail online
  • Low cost international calls
  • Custom greetings for callers

Google Voice additional features with Google’s number:

  • One number for all your phones
  • Get SMS messages via email
  • Block unwanted callers

The vast feature is sometimes difficult to use, but the Adobe AIR application enables Google Voice on the desktop all the time. The Adobe AIR Google Voice desktop application is a rich Internet application that run outside the browser on multiple operating systems. It can be used on Windows, Mac and Linux computers.

The Adobe AIR desktop application maximizes Google Voice usage, even if the web browser is closed, or one navigates away from the Google Voice website. The mini application extends the usefulness of Google Voice.
