How to Activate ctrl+atl+del Windows 7
Security is very important in every computer system. I could remember that even the logon screen is a door way for illegal intrusion. Thus, it’s recommended to use Ctrl+Alt+Delete combination to login to the system. Older versions of Windows really have this pop up logon screen. This was designed to fend off break ins and provide a higher security login.
I am not sure if this is still true for newer computer operating system such as Windows 7. Anyway, I am looking for this login pop up in my Windows 7. Thus, the question on how to activate the ctrl + alt + del combination keys on Windows 7. There are a number of ways but I’ll just show how I did it on my computer.
To activate ctrl+atl+del windows 7, I run “netplwiz” command. This will open up the “User Accounts” window. On the Advance tab there is a Secure logon portion on the bottom most part. Tick the box which Requires users to press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and restart the machine for the changes to take effect.
