Keep Safe Personal Data with Online Data Backup
Personal computers makes life easier for many, but this comes with some challenges too. One of them is managing the growing pile of computer files daily. I find it a daunting task when faced with separating office files from personal files. It’s no joke to sit in front of a desktop computer and scour through each computer file. Various files such as images, photos, videos, music, office presentation, office document, software installers, and a lot more litter on the computer system.
Changes in work place have forced me to segregate personal computer files from that of office working files. I just realized that I need a whole lot of disk storage space. Putting on DVD’s would be time consuming and have limited space. I was considering buying a 2TB USB 2.0 Seagate FreeAgent external harddisk. I believe that backing up the data would be faster compared to data backup on DVD’s. I sometimes forget to do regular data backup. I have stored safely some data on DVD’s before, but it’s a bit inconvenient.
The right solution, I guess, would be to subscribe on an online data backup service. No need to worry about the DVD’s getting lost or external hard drive accidentally broken. Automatic off-site data backup could keep safe personal data from theft or natural calamities. Automatic file sync would make life easier in accessing data between home and office. Due to the popularity of cloud computing online data backup are becoming affordable and easy to setup. In my opinion online data backup service is a good choice for keeping safe personal data.
